DO NOT use this if you have ANY flu-like symptoms (fever, sore throat, coughing, shortness of breath, muscle ache and fatigue, loss of sense of taste or smell). Please phone our friendly staff to let them know and they will book an appointment for you.

We are continuing to provide phone/video consultations so please let our staff know if you prefer this option. Our staff will go through a series of questions with you if you need a face-to-face consultation.

There are limited seating in our waiting area; this is to ensure we minimise the number of people waiting in here at any one time. To help us with this, please try and limit the number of people you come in with (e.g. patient only, plus one support person if needed). If for some reason our waiting area is full, our staff may ask you to wait in your car and call you in when the doctor/nurse is ready to see you, or when there are seats available in the waiting area. Thank you for your understanding.

We will continue to do our best to provide care for our patients but at the same time ensuring we create a safe environment for everyone.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

  • Preferred method of payment: Online or EFTPOS/credit card payment.

CORONAVIRUS https://www.inspirehealth.nz/coronavirus/ Wed, 29 Jan 2020 04:55:47 +0000 http://www.inspirehealth.nz/?p=1876 Travellers who become sick within 14 days of their arrival are encouraged to seek medical advice. If you think you may have been exposed to CORONAVIRUS, phone: 3725190 and ask to speak to a nurse. A nurse will then give you instructions on how to proceed. Please DO NOT come to the clinic unless instructed.

It is important to mention any recent travel to China and/or any known contact with someone with severe acute respiratory illness who has been in China.

What are the symptoms? Symptoms are similar to a range of other illnesses such as influenza and do not necessarily mean that you have Coronavirus.

Symptoms include:
Fever, coughing and difficulty breathing.
Difficulty breathing is a sign of possible pneumonia and requires immediate medical attention.
Phone: 3725190 and ask to speak to a nurse. A nurse will then give you instructions on how to proceed.

WHO advises people follow the basic principles to reduce the general risk of acute respiratory infection. These are:
– avoid close contact with people suffering acute respiratory infections
– wash hands frequently, especially after contact with ill people or their environment
– avoid close contact with sick farm animals or wild animals
– people with symptoms of acute respiratory infection should practice cough etiquette:maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, wash hands.
